Well, I knew it was going to happen eventually…. Ladies and gents, we’ve had our first “foodie flop.“
Today, I tried “melt in your mouth chicken.” The original recipe is pinned here. The resulting chicken was WAY too salty. I could hardly eat more than a few bites.
I admit it’s possible that I mucked up while measuring for the yogurt and seasoning mixture, but I’m fairly sure I didn’t.
I’m not saying this is a horrible “do not use under any circumstances” recipe. Just scale back the seasoning salt, a lot. Maybe use 1/2 tsp to start out with, and if it doesn’t seem like enough, gradually add a little more until you’re satisfied.
Compared to the salt problem, this isn’t much of an issue, but my chicken did not turn out crunchy and beautiful like the pinned picture. Instead, it looked lifeless, mushy and questionable, despite my best efforts to dress it up.
Well, what do you think? Have you tried making this recipe before? Did it turn out for you? Or do you have a better pin for an alternative to fried chicken? I’d love to know!
Until Monday, happy pin-testing!

I had the EXACT same response when I made it! Here’s my review: http://pinterest.com/pin/66780006944828828/ The chicken was tender, but the coating was way too salty, so we pulled it off. Good to know we weren’t too picky.
I’m SO glad someone else had the same problem! I honestly thought that I must have used 1 1/2 TABLEspoons of the seasoning salt.
I wonder now if the Parmesan cheese had anything to do with the salty flavor, but I’m not curious enough to re-test it.

Hello! Do you use Twitter? I’d like to follow you if that would be ok. I’m definitely enjoying your blog and look forward to new posts.
You know, I’ve never been very fond of Twitter. haha. You’d probably be bored following me, since I only use it to follow some of my favorite celebrities.
Thank you for reading, and I hope you continue to enjoy my posts!

I’m really loving the theme/design of your weblog. Do you ever run into any web browser compatibility issues? A few of my blog visitors have complained about my blog not working correctly in Explorer but looks great in Opera. Do you have any suggestions to help fix this issue?
Thank you! I have to admit, I’m really fond of the design as well. The roses and bright colors almost make it possible to forget the snow outside.
I have never run into compatibility issues while working on this blog (I usually use Firefox or Explorer). However, I can’t speak for my readers. I haven’t heard any complaints, but it’s possible no one has bothered to mention them.
I’m afraid I’m not much good when it comes to technical problems. When I have had issues in the past, I’ve had good luck using WordPress’s support forums.

Great info. I love all the posts, I really enjoyed
Does your website have a contact page? I’m having a tough time locating it but, I’d like to shoot you an email. I’ve got some suggestions for your blog you might be interested in hearing. Either way, great website and I look forward to seeing it grow over time.
I don’t actually have a contact page yet. I’ve been trying to create one, but it never seems to work correctly.
If you’d like, you can just post your suggestions here (in the comments)! That way, we know I can see them.
Thank you for your feedback and for reading!

Whats up! Where did you get theme of this website? It is incredible
Hey there!
The theme I’m using is called “Twenty Eleven.” I think it’s one of the default options.
The header picture is one of my own which I took when I was in London. And for the colors, I just played around until I found a combination I liked.
