Today’s Foodie Friday test is another yummy treat. Say helloooo to Nutella crescent rolls.
What you’ll need:
- One roll of crescent rolls
- Cinnamon & sugar
How long it’s going to take:
- 10-20 minutes: Prep time: depending on how fast you can open the roll (or however long it takes you to quit being scared of the impending POP!) and untangle the dough
- 15-17 minutes: Bake time, or whatever instructions are given on the roll
How to do it:
First, preheat your oven to the directions given by your rolls.
Next, brave up, and get the crescents out of the roll. Everyone I know is darn near scared to death each time they have to POP! open one of these rolls. But. The finished crescents are worth it… so put on your big kid undies and get done with it.
There, the worst is over.
Dip the top and sides of your Nutella-filled roll into a mix of cinnamon & sugar. I don’t recommend dipping the bottom, because it will easily burn and stick to the cookie sheet.
Once you have finished these steps with all of the rolls, put them into the oven and bake according to the directions on the package. If in doubt, make sure they are golden brown before taking out of the oven.
Again, these were SO YUMMY, I had trouble only eating two right away. If I’d had another can of rolls in the fridge, I would have immediately whipped out a second batch.
